AUTHOR                  CAROLYN TAYLOR-WATTS

Carolyn Taylor-Watts grew up in rural New Zealand but has lived the greater part of her life in Toronto.

Following a long career as a Registered Nurse she began writing, and since 1999 has published newspaper articles, short story fiction, and three books of non-fiction. These have been published under her former name, Carolyn Matthews.

Her fascination with 20th century Greco-Turkish history and the aftermath of the 1922 war between them led to many years of research, to travel in Greece and Turkey, and eventually to the writing of the historical fiction novel, Helena: an Odyssey.  Her latest work of fiction is Looking for Gordon.

When not writing, Carolyn enjoys reading, travel, music, film – and particularly her families both here and in New Zealand. She loves hearing from her fans.
